On Friday, June 7 we held a certification training for agents and team leaders from South Carolina Dept. of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. Special thanks to our friends at Hospice & Community Care for hosting us. New Workbook Alert!
Our 9th workbook is now available: Substance Use and Responsible Thinking Intensive.  This is a level 2 workbook and has 26 lessons and can be used for clients who need a little more support than the level 1 book of the same name. If you would like to check out a copy just let us know.
 
We had a great time Thursday, June 20 presenting down in Aiken, South Carolina at the Annual U.S. Probation, South Carolina District training. Lots of good food and even better people.
Meet Haley our new office manager. She is a long time York County resident and recent graduate from York Technical College where she earned paralegal and business degrees. Haley’s passion for helping people and creating change is a natural fit for our Three Trees family. She brings many skills to her work, including a fluency in sarcasm, and we are absolutely thrilled she chose Three Trees as her next vocational home.
The Power Control Ladder

This video demonstrates how people move up the power and control ladder when they are being challenged. Stages include Passive, Shaming and Blaming, Fussing and Cussing, Commanding and Demanding, Controlling Movement and Violence. Viewers will learn how people move up this ladder if they are not aware of the steps and how they can move back down the ladder to keep themselves and others feeling safe and cared for.
